Funny Funny

(Thanks Dooce)

An armless man in a long jacket walks into a bathroom and stands by a urinal...

Soon seeing he needs help to use the toilet he asks a close by man, " Can you help me point my penis" ?

The man reluctantly accepted but, decided not to look at the mans penis. After a few seconds of holding it he thinks, " Hey! I'm grabbing it right"? " So I should look, I have a right"!

He looks down at the mans member and sees that is beyond hideous. Startled he jumps back and lets go, asking. " What the hell is wrong with it ?"

The "armless" man pulls his arms out of his jacket and says "I dunno, but, I ain't touchin' it." and walks away.

CRAZINESS!!!

First of all, let me put a disclaimer in here... I like all SORTS of music - AC/DC, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Eminem, Coldplay, Kid Rock, Aerosmith, Madonna, The Killers, Johnny Cash, The Doors, Hole, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Iron Maiden, and even Kelly Clarkson... (those are the ones who have the most songs on my iPod...)

So I don't say this because I don't like the music, but ------

Isn't there something a little strange about the fact that The Who is on tour, Ozzy has a new album, and Slayer is still able to sell tickets??? hahahha!! Maybe it's just me...

Anyway - Sydney is having fun at Nana's, and I'm sitting here with a plate of cold corndogs I fixed but nobody wanted watching the cat chase gnats that have sprung up by the desk from some food spill nobody bothered to tell me about... Can you say BOREDOM???? I'm supposed to be cleaning, but I really really really really really don't want to!!!!! REALLY! for. real. *sigh* But alas, I must... !@#$!@#%$!@$@#$%#%@!#$!!! :-)

Your Hair Should Be Orange

Expressive, deep, and one of a kind.
You pull off "weird" well - hardly anyone notices.

You Are 62% Pure

You're pretty pure, and you have no plans on changing that.
You do have a devilish side though... and it will probably get the better of you.

You Are 56% Peaceful

In general, you think the world's a pretty great place - and you're happy to be a part of it.
Sometimes you struggle with life, but who doesn't?
You are quite level headed, though you have more inner angst than you'd like.

You Are 24% Sociopath

From time to time, you may be a bit troubled and a bit too charming for your own good.
It's likely that you're not a sociopath... just quite smart and a bit out of the mainstream!

More Movies... And a Quiz

Last night we watched a couple of movies:

The Dead Girl: Well, first I must admit that I love both Giovanni Ribisi and Brittany Murphy, and I did enjoy this movie, but it was a little - um, weird lol. First of all the movie was so DARK - both in content and just hard to see. The director really played with the lighting effects and it worked great, just was almost impossible to see in parts. Anyway - I liked this movie, but its not for everyone - many people would be bored.

Music and Lyrics: cute, cute, cute. But really, would you expect anything less than cuteness from a movie with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore? LOL I think not! ^^

We still have Into the Blue to watch, but I'm not holding my breath for this one. It looks really corny to me...

You Are Pretty Logical

You're a bit of a wizard when it comes to logic
While you don't have perfect logic, you logic is pretty darn good
Keep at it - you've got a lot of natural talent in this area!

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence

You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well.
An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly.
You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view.
A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary.

You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator.

Do I like Kirk or do I like Picard?

This is one of the funniest songs I've heard in a long time. The really sad thing is there isn't anything he mentions in this song that I didn't know exactly what he means... I guess that means I'm White and Nerdy, too. Oh well. :-) [And for those of you who might not know, this is a parody of Ridin' Dirty by Chamillionaire]

White & Nerdy by Al Yankovic

They see me mowin’
My front lawn
I know they’re all thinking I’m so white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Can’t you see I’m white and nerdy?
Look at me, I’m white and nerdy
I wanna roll with
The gangstas
But so far they all think I’m too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
I’m just too white and nerdy.
Really really white and nerdy.

First in my class here at MIT
Got skills, I’m a champion at D&D
MC Escher - that’s my favorite MC
Keep your 40, I’ll just have an Earl Grey tea
My rims never spin, to the contrary
You’ll find that they’re quite stationary
All of my action figures are cherry
Steven Hawking’s in my library
My MySpace page is all totally pimped out
Got people beggin’ for my top eight spaces
Yo, I know pi to a thousand places
Ain’t got no grills but I still wear braces
I order all of my sandwiches with mayonnaise
I’m a whiz at Minesweeper - I could play for days
Once you see my sweet moves you’re gonna stay amazed
My fingers’ movin’ so fast I’ll set the place ablaze
There’s no killer app I haven’t run
At Pascal, well I’m number one
Do vector calculus just for fun
I ain’t got a gat but I got a soldering gun
Happy Days is my favorite theme song
I could sure kick your butt in a game of ping pong
I’ll ace any trivia quiz you bring on
I’m fluent in JavaScript as well as Klingon

They see me roll on
My Segway
I know in my heart they think I’m white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Can’t you see I’m white and nerdy
Look at me, I’m white and nerdy
I’d like to roll with
The gangstas
Although it’s apparent I’m too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
I’m just too white and nerdy
How’d I get so white and nerdy

I’ve been browsin’, inspectin’
X-Men comics, you know I collect ‘em
The pens in my pocket, I must protect ‘em
My ergonomic keyboard never leaves me bored
Shopping online for deals on some writable media
I edit Wikipedia
I memorized Holy Grail really well
I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL
I got a business doing websites
When my friends need some code, who do they call?
I do HTML for ‘em all
Even made a homepage for my dog
Yo, I got myself a fanny pack
They were havin’ a sale down at The Gap
Spend my nights with a roll of bubble wrap
Pop, pop, hope no one sees me
Gettin’ freaky
I’m nerdy in the extreme
And whiter than sour cream
I was in AV Club and Glee Club and even the Chess Team
Only question I
Ever thought was hard
Was do I like Kirk
Or do I like Picard
Spend every weekend at the Renaissance Fair
Got my name on my underwear

They see me strollin’
They laughin’
And rollin’ their eyes ‘cause I’m so white and nerdy
Just because I’m white and nerdy
Just because I’m white and nerdy
All because I’m white and nerdy
Holy cow, I’m white and nerdy
I wanna bowl with
The gangstas
But, oh well, it’s obvious I’m white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
Think I’m just too white and nerdy
I’m just too white and nerdy
Look at me, I’m white and nerdy

LOL Attention Wrestling Fans!

Ok, now first of all, I hate wrestling. I've never really watching any because I think its just stupid. HOWEVER, I recently learned that a friend of mine has a husband who not only likes to make fun of wrestling, but has WRITTEN A BOOK. So go check it out, here is the link: WrestleCrap: The Very Worst of Pro-Wrestling. :-) There is also a website, if you are interested: Wrestlecrap. hehehehe

I love it when I actually know someone who has a book on Amazon! It's only happened once before (I knew her from a list of great ladies I was friends with online).

This is one of the funniest commercials in a long time... Not everyone will find the humor, but trust me, it's there. :-)

Good times!

I TOLD you it was delicious!!! (Yes, that is REAL whipped cream...)

These were taken at my Aunt and Uncle's house today at the annual Easter Egg Hunt they have for the little ones. My cousin Jackson won the big prize for the 2nd year in a row. He was quite proud of himself hehe.

Well now, how to describe these pictures....... This is my cousin Ashlee, and she's sad because she has no "boobies". LOL! (For the record, my other cousin had just done her hair, she normally doesn't wear pigtails LOL!!)

*sigh* Brace yourself, it only gets worse.....

These next beauties are my mother pretending to be a Ninja, but actually looking more like a confused Egyptian. (Oh, and Ashlee in the background looking normal - had to redeem her or she would have hated me forever lol).

Last but not least a really blurry picture of the new paint under my kitchen cabinets. I will try to get a better one tomorrow, I have some other things to put up, too, that I've been making.

Two things that are so not related they shouldn't be in one post

Update on C. - She was visited by a "child cancer doctor" (lol that's how he was described to me, so I'm just relaying the facts...) and he said that he isn't ruling OUT cancer, but he isn't immediately jumping to that conclusion like the first doctor did yesterday. They will have to wait for final results in three days for the official diagnosis. Anyway, this second dr. said that it appeared to him to be an infection in the bone or possibly a tumor, but he wasn't positive it looked cancerous to him based on the MRI. So we really don't know anything yet, but there is hope, it seems.

And as for the TOTALLY unrelated thing and I mean it's so on the opposite end of the emotional spectrum it probably shouldn't even BE in the same post as the above update, but hey, I'm anything but conventional...
Neuticles
Just in case your neutered dog has self-esteem issues....... Jeez, people will spend money on anything!

First of the Month Ramblings

Ok, I've done the FlyLady thing many times before, but never gotten through it all because well, I'm lazy lol. But, I seriously need to work through it this time and not live like this anymore.

So, here goes nothing...
Day 1

This is another attempt at Fingerless Gloves. I read on Craftster.org that someone made some out of Peaches and Cream cotton, so I'm seeing how that goes, since I'm still unsure what to make of the Cash Vero I have on hand.

UPDATE: I finished one glove, I really like it, but there are some changes I want to make. I'm glad I used scrap yarn, but it only took a tiny amount. I'm going to make it less wide and I am thinking of putting a button at the wrist, because I want them tighter than ribbing. I'll post a pic of the completed one tomorrow.

And thanks to Laura (I think) from my Knitting Circle, here is a funny knitting project you can knit up for your Christmas list along with the Willy Warmers. HAHA

(Warning: NSFW)
Little Nekkid Man!

Here is a close up picture in case you are interested lol...

Funstuff, indeed. (I hear he's "fully pose-able")

These are pictures of the Skull Illusion Scarf. Looking straight at it, you basically see only stripes, but looking at it perpendicular, you see the skull and crossbones. I will either continue making this as an entire scarf, or make a little bag for Sydney, I haven't decided yet.

One last thing, someone showed me a great color scheme generator and I lost the link. Well, I looked it up today, and thought I'd share with ya'll. Its really a nifty little tool. I'm gonna use it to make some Fair Isle patterns or striped hats or something... lol

I also found this one which makes funky swirly designs to give you an even better idea of how the colors look together.

PULLING MY HAIR OUT (and yarn, too)!

Ok, so I scrapped the felted bag... I just couldn't find the needles I needed for that particular pattern. I needed 16" sz10 circs, and I only have 29". They are just too long to make the knitting easy. So, the wool is back in the stash bag, waiting patiently for me to decide what to turn it in to.

Now, on to the Fetching. I am so nervous about using this yarn! Its just too expensive to be messed with willy nilly. LOL Really, though, I realize that many of you don't consider $7 for a tiny skein of yarn expensive, but I do because I just am a total tightwad, and there is ALWAYS something else we need/want the money for. That being said, I am trying to get better about this, it will just take me a while... So....................... I can't decide what to do with the Cash Vero, either. I am still planning on making them into fingerless gloves, but I think I will just use a very generic "tube" type of dealio and just leave a hole for my thumb. This is actually how I like my sweaters, so I think I will be happier with this.

*sigh*

On a brighter note, I took the kids to the McDonald's Playscape for a few hours today and we all had a good time. I worked on the Skull Illusion Scarf, and wasn't paying close attention so had to frog a few rows here and there lol, but it's ok. We were having fun, and that's all that counts, right?

I'm just frustrated because I have all these projects I want to make and so much yarn I want to use, I just can never decide what to work on in what order.
