My Heart Beats

Today we wed
When all is said
My heart beats happy

One stick, two lines
Unknowns , surprise
My heart beats expectation

Letter comes
You pack to leave
My heart beats War

Ten fingers, ten toes
My eyes, your nose
My heart beats pink

Now we are gray
Beauty anyway
My heart beats contentment

Doctor comes
You go, again
My heart forces it’s beats

Memories flow
As I sit alone
My heart beats….slowly

I fall asleep
I’m happy. Don’t weep.
My heart…doesn’t…....b.e..a…
