Fetching (aka fingerless gloves)

DISCLAIMER: This was actually made and photographed by yours truly.

I decided to take a short weekend break from the fuzzy sweater (so I don't get burnt out) and made some fingerless gloves. Well, one anyway. I'm not thrilled with the fit, so I am not sure I will make a 2nd one and waste the yarn.

Finished Object
Pattern:
Fetching
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease, Pink Heather
Needles: Brittany birch DPNs Sz6

I wasn't super impressed with the fit on my Fetching gloves either. I'm glad I did a second repeat of the pattern at the knuckles, otherwise they would be way too small! Hope the sizing issue works out for you! It's a pretty color.

Thank! The color is very pretty, indeed. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Actually I love all the Wool-Ease colors.

I think I'm going to try Knucks next and see how they work.

I made mine out of cascade 220 and I definitely noticed a difference when I made a second pair for a friend out of the cashmerino. The cascade pair is very loose at the top and rolls. Is that the problem you're having too?

Yeah, the top is loose and too "ruffly" for me. So maybe I should try to find some cashmerino and try them that way - I was kind of concerned that the wool-ease might have been too thick or something.
