Ally-Oh-Lee

I know it looks like she is picking her nose, but she really is just scratching... (or at least that's what I'm telling myself hahaha!!)

Pillow Speaker

Now, I've been looking at these for a while, but I finally bought one yesterday and last night the kids were trying it out. I went to sleep with it on last night and it was dA BoMb! :-)

9/15/08 Day 24 and a question

Do any of you ever watch It's a Big Big World? Do you think that the person who plays the sloth smokes some serious weed before doing the show?? lol His voice is exactly like every stereotypical stoner in like every movie out there. I hate HATE the show, but the way he talks cracks me up!

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Omg... Where to start!?!?!?!?!

I guess we'll start with Friday. My mom came up and we took the '04 Audi in to have a few things looked at that were acting up, and then we ate at P.F. Chang's". (It was quite yummy, as always - lettuce wraps - YUM!!!)

Then we dropped Charles back off at home and picked up the girls with the intentions of going to the orchard, but things happened and we couldn't, so the day was pretty much a bust with absolutely nothing accomplished that we'd hoped to do. But anyway ... Oh, and the car?? Yeah $106 for what they fixed on Friday with $500 worth still to do in the near future. Gotta love our car karma. And you might remember my saying that I had a flat tire on the '99 Audi, right?? Yeah, cracked rim - $250. Loverly.

Here is Trey at Goodyear while we were having the tire checked out. (This was actually Thursday)

I snapped a few pics of the girls acting silly at the Audi dealership Friday night:

So then on Saturday we went to the orchard that we'd wanted to go to on Friday but didn't have the time. Since Trey had went home w/ Dorothy it was just me and the girls. We didn't stay long, but we had a good time.

After the orchard we came home and picked up Charles and went to a Home Safety Bus at Lowe's.

So since the girls were good, we decided to take them to the movies. We saw House Bunny and it was VERY funny!

And then today we went to Aunt Sandy's for Kristen's 21st bday. The festivities were cut a little short when Marty got a call that a tree had fallen on her house!!! Craziness!! Luckily no MAJOR damage was done and nobody got hurt! (Of course much fun was had playing dress up in all of Kristen's old ballet costumes)

Oh, and last but not least!!!!!!!

I have a UTI and a cold!!

Yea, I'm miserable. I'm popping AZO, cranberry pills, echinacea, and vitamin C... Hopefully better tomorrow or I'm TOTALLY going to the clinic!

Elnora Antique Tractor Show

Mom, Dad, the kids, Charles, me, and Uncle "Josephina" went to see the tractors in Elnora this weekend. Thank God it was much cooler than last year when Trey got so hot and tired he literally just dropped to the ground and went to sleep while standing in line for lunch... We had a really good time. Oh and yes... that IS the Wizard in the cowboy hat hehehe!!!

Labor Day Weekend

Man, I knew last night I was getting this cold that Trey and Charles have had all week. This morning when I woke up at 6am with a pounding head and a throat full of sandpaper, I just knew it was all over. So I spent the day mostly in bed and popping pills - but yesterday was fun. We went to Linton to Charles' aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. Here are some snapshots from the festivities!! (I took a couple of other really cute pics, but figured they were best not placed online lol - like of Trey on the toilet, and Ally pretending to use the urinal lol!!!)

After we left we went to my mom and dad's to see them and to put a new battery in the car. My mom took a couple funny pics of Sydney and Trey while we were there. Boring is a word that would never be used to describe my kids...... :-)

Hair...

I've recently become obsessed with fixing the girls' hair. Up until this year neither of them would sit and actually let me DO much with it, so they normally just got ponies and normal braids. I've been experimenting a little here and there, mostly just to get them used to sitting still while their hair is being done.

I've also done some research online for some fun hairdos. I've found some great sites for ideas. If you are interested - check a few out - very fun!!

So far, I've been taking pics of the girls every morning, and you can see how their hair has been done so far, some days more exciting than others. I'm hoping in the next few weeks to try some more complicated styles - we'll see how it goes!!! The plan is - LESS BORING HAIR :-)

She Does Hair
Babes in Hairland
Jackie & Kassie's Sweet Do's
Bowznstuff
Piper's hairdos
Little Girl Hair
Girly Do's
Girl Hairdos & Ideas
all girls hair
Princess Charmed Hair

And I'm SOOO making some of THESE this weekend!!
